Excellent outcome at the Snæfellingur competition

On 21 August we took part in the annual competition of our riding club Snæfellingur.  This time the venue was in Stykkishólmur.  The outcome was as good as we could possible hope for. 

Siguroddur won B-class in Gæðingakeppni and tölt competition on Glóð frá Kýrholti.  She was also selected the best mare in the competition.

Our stallion Hrókur frá Flugumýri II won the A-class in Gæðingakeppni and was also selected as the best horse in the competition.  Siguroddur was also rewarded as the rider of the day.

Guðný Margrét Siguroddsdóttir won both children´s class and tölt for 17 years old and younger, and was selected as the most promising young rider.  Borghildur Gunnarsdóttir came in 2nd place in children´s class and 3rd in tölt for 17 year old and younger.  Gunnar ended up in 3-4 in tölt on Dímon frá Margrétarhofi after riding him in 100M pace race where they came in 5th place.  So, this was a good day for our team!
